We celebrated the start of our new fiscal year July 1st. As with any New Year, we look forward to the next 365 days with much optimism and hope that we will continue to get closer to achieving Within Reach. As we reflect on all that we have accomplished since we began this endeavor, we have much to celebrate. We have distributed more food than we ever have before. We have engaged more volunteers than we ever have before. We have implemented innovative changes that help us to be even more efficient. We have strengthened our infrastructure to ensure our sustainability as we continue to grow. We have established new sites and created new programs. We have reached out to those we serve in ways that we never have before, sharing their stories and giving them a voice.
We have worked tirelessly to make our vision, an end to hunger in Southern Colorado, a reality. With each step, we get closer to providing access to food to all of our Southern Colorado neighbors at risk of hunger. With each step, we are creating a brighter future. With each step, we are investing in our community’s full potential. With each step, we are building a stronger foundation so that we can better weather life’s storms. We could not have gotten very far without the dedication of our donors, volunteers, partner agencies, and supporters. Thank you for every step that you have taken with us on this important journey!
