Local campaigns & food drives

The holiday season is a time to bring people together. On November 17th, join us for Take a Turkey to Work Day. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Care and Share team and volunteers will be collecting frozen turkey donations at participating King Soopers locations in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. We believe food is the foundation for creating memories around the table with loved ones, experiencing joy, and building hope.

Harvest of Love is an annual food drive in Colorado Springs and Pueblo area schools. All food and money collected is given to Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. Typically, schools compete to see who can raise the most meals for our neighbors in need, which results in this being the largest food drive of the year for Care and Share!

On Tuesday, December 5th, thousands of Colorado non-profit organizations will be coming together for Colorado Gives Day, the biggest fundraising event in the state. Last year on Colorado Gives Day we raised over $100,000 for our neighbors in need — or over 500,000 meals! Help us do it again by scheduling your gift or donating today.

Hanson HotSpring Spas is a dedicated supporter of Care and Share Food Bank. Located on 1835 Dublin Boulevard, it’s an ongoing collection site. That means the next time you stop in, you can bring some non-perishable food donations with you. Hanson HotSpring Spas also holds a twice-annual Customer Appreciation Day drive on the 3rd Saturday in May and the 2nd Saturday in December.
