About Care and Share

At Care and Share Food Bank, our mission is to ensure equitable and sustainable access to nutritious food and education by partnering with neighbors, communities, organizations, and supporters across Southern Colorado because we believe no one should go hungry. Our vision is to place people first to maximize access to nutritious food and meet the unique needs of each neighbor we serve. Our core values are people, resilience, integrity, dignity, equity, and excellence.

People first; our people include employees, neighbors, volunteers, donors, and partners. We treat all people with respect and dignity. We place people at the center of our mission. Our people inform our Programs and Services to meet them where they are.   

Our organization maintains practices that ensure the durability of our organization. These practices relate to our financial sustainability, continuity of operation, and retention, ensuring that Care and Share can rapidly adapt to changing conditions.
