Good morning friends of Care and Share!

Today, we feature three of our all-star volunteers: Mike, Dana, and Dean. These guys provide us with many hours of service EVERY week to ensure that their Southern Colorado neighbors have access to food. This morning, they are “picking an order” for Salvation Army of Colorado Springs.

Our partner agencies, such as Salvation Army, enter their orders online and then we gather the items and get them ready for the agency to pick up or for our drivers to deliver the order. Our partner agencies are our number one means of getting the food to the people that need it.

We are thankful that we have so many dedicated volunteers to help us with every aspect of our work. Without their continued support, ideas, inspiration, and hard work, we would not be nearly as efficient and effective in the fight against hunger.
