Good morning friends of Care and Share!

Today, we feature Ron Pierce, our Customer Service Coordinator, in the warehouse. Ron has just put together an order of potatoes for our partner agency, the Salida Community Center.

This order is for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), which is a federal program aimed at providing food for low-income seniors. We administer this program throughout our service area and distribute food to partner sites, such as the Salida Community Center, that host CSFP.

It takes many local and national programs and partners working together to get food to our Southern Colorado neighbors at risk of hunger. Thank YOU for being part of this important network in the fight against hunger.
