Turkey Update

Good morning!

Captain Dan and Tammy Oakland, Sunny 106.3’s morning team, and Shellene Cockrell, News5 Today morning anchor are teaming up TOMORROW to continue a Thanksgiving tradition that helps give everyone in Southern Colorado something to be thankful for. . . Take a Turkey to Work Day!

From 6am-6pm TOMORROW, drop off frozen turkeys at the following Wal-Mart locations:
  • Chapel Hills: 8250 Razorback Rd., Colorado Springs, 80920
  • 8th Street: 707 S. 8th St., Colorado Springs, 80905
  • Palmer Park: 1575 Space Center Dr., Colorado Springs, 80915
This year’s goal is to receive 7,000 turkeys for our neighbors in need. We currently have collected just more than 2,500 turkeys.

A majority of our partner agency distribution takes place this Saturday, so TOMORROW is a great opportunity for you to get involved! Please help us achieve our goal and provide a traditional Thanksgiving centerpiece for our friends at risk of hunger throughout Southern Colorado.

Follow our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts TOMORROW to watch the progress unfold.

Can’t wait to donate your turkey? Text “Turkey” to 41010 to donate $10 to Care and Share which will provide one turkey this holiday season.

SEE YOU TOMORROW!
