John Romine is one of Care and Share Food Bank’s dedicated team members. He has worked at the Pueblo distribution center for nearly a decade! As a lead warehouseman, John spends most of his time delivering pallets of food to partner agencies in and around Pueblo. “Most of what I do is out of town,” said John, “out east and out west… and sometimes down south. Because we are south of Springs, we get to take care of areas that are easier for us to get to.”

John says he has certainly seen growth in the Pueblo distribution center over the years. “Astronomically! We went from a six-pallet truck-one truck- to two, twelve-pallet trucks. And back then, we had one warehouse manager, myself, and initially that was it. So, we’ve grown.”

So what has kept John at Care and Share for so many years? “It’s a great job. I’ve done a lot of things and none of them are quite as rewarding as this,” said John.
