Care and Share provides food in rural communities or areas where no other food resource agency exists through Mobile Food Pantries.
During the month of September, our Mobile Food Pantries
- Visited seven Southern Colorado counties
- Served 760 families
- Distributed 64,910 pounds of perishable and non-perishable food items, which is the equivalent of 54,091 meals
This food made its way to the tables of people like Debra, featured in last week’s blog, and her family, providing nutrition and hope in times of need.
