Martin Luther King Day of Service 2016

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dear friends of Care and Share,
Yesterday, 167 volunteers answered Martin Luther King Jr.’s call to action. Together, volunteers of all ages contributed nearly 500 hours of their valuable time to help their neighbors struggling with hunger.

Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we were able to sort and box 74,993 pounds of food—the equivalent of 62,494 meals!!

We think we would have made Dr. King proud.

Thanks for reading!
