Colorado East Community Action Agency (CECAA) provides a wide variety of services for the residents of Limon, including emergency utility assistance, free tax preparation, and employment readiness. Care and Share provides food to CECAA for families in need of additional resources. Care and Share is really good at distributing food, and when we provide food to our partner agencies, they can funnel this cost saving into the things that they do really well, such as job training, healthcare, and case management.  CECAA says, “That’s what we are about, stabilizing families” and they truly understand that access to food is an essential part of regaining self-sufficiency.

CECAA has experienced a huge increase in those in need of their services, and they are working to meet the growing need in their local community.  Accessibility is one thing, but having a genuine care for others is another.  CECAA goes above and beyond their scope of services to provide hope, support, and encouragement to those working to move themselves out of poverty.   We are proud to partner with CECAA as we work together to make our community better and brighter.
