Good morning friends of Care and Share!

Last week, we held a very important training for our partner agencies that are interested in providing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-formerly known as food stamps) education and application assistance.

SNAP, in conjunction with our work to provide emergency and supplemental food to our neighbors in need, is a very important component to hunger relief. Because of enhancements to PEAK, an online service for Coloradans to screen and apply for medical, food, and cash assistance programs, eligible individuals can apply for multiple benefits at the same time, saving valuable time and resources.

We are so grateful to these agencies that were able to participate and are looking forward to getting more food to more people in more places.
