What’s in the Warehouse Wednesday

Hi friends of Care and Share!

Today, our President and CEO, Lynne Telford, is in the warehouse…with a fork…standing by one of our forklifts. Who else could look this classy holding a gigantic fork?

This photo demonstrates the importance of our equipment in being able to get food in and out of our 50,000 square foot warehouse to the people that need it. Without fork lifts, and other equipment such as pallet jacks and over-the-road trucks, we literally could not do our job.

Because our storage racks are seven stories high, we need forklifts to get the pallets of food in and out of our warehouse, refrigerator, and freezer. Most of our forklifts reach the third or fourth racks, but we have one, fondly referred to as Godzilla, that reaches 32 feet high–all the way to the seventh rack.

Our warehouse and equipment are essential to our work and allow us to distribute millions of pounds of each year. If you would like to visit our warehouse and see the equipment in action, please visit
