Good morning friends of Care and Share!
This week is inventory week! Since our fiscal year ends June 30th, our staff is busy counting all of the food in our warehouse. This food is then valued and included in our year-end audit. Our warehouse has the capacity to house 25 million pounds of food each year, so counting inventory means keeping track of the 1-2 million pounds of food that is in our facility at any given time. What a task!
