Direct service programs
Nourishing our communities
Care and Share Food Bank’s Direct Services allow us to work directly with our neighbors facing hunger. Direct Services offer a variety of tools across our service area to address gaps in the emergency food system. Such tools include mobile food pantries, mobile markets, and our signature Sunny Side Markets.

Neighborhood markets
Sunny Side Markets are a new kind of pantry— where food is provided free of charge, and served in a warm, dignified, and respectful shopping experience.

Mobile food pantries
Care and Share Food Bank hosts Mobile Food Pantry distributions in areas across Southern Colorado with limited access to grocery stores and other food resources.

Mobile markets
The Mobile Market is like a grocer on wheels, designed to take food directly into neighborhoods that have high concentrations of need with a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and pantry staples where they can be easily accessed.
