Join us for Take a Turkey to Work Day on November 20, 2026 from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The holiday season is a time to bring people together. On November 20th, join us for Take a Turkey to Work Day. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Care and Share team and volunteers will be collecting frozen turkey donations at participating King Soopers locations in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and City Market in Alamosa. We believe food is the foundation for creating memories around the table with loved ones, experiencing joy, and building hope. Thanks to the Abram and Ray Kaplan Foundation, we are eligible for a $50,000 match! So every $1 donated through the campaign will be matched up to $50,000.

Take a Turkey to Work Day
You can participate in Take a Turkey to Work Day on November 20, 2026 as an individual, with your family or coworkers, or virtually!
Donate online
Can't make it in person? That's ok! Make an online gift toward our Take a Turkey to Work Day campaign and we will provide the frozen turkey for you.
Host a turkey drive
Collect frozen turkeys at your workplace or organization. On November 21st, drop off the donations at a participating King Soopers. You can also host an online fundraiser.
Donate a turkey in person
On Take a Turkey to Work Day, stop by a participating King Soopers location and drop off a frozen turkey or two. Our team will be collecting donations from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. See below for store locations.
