Recipe for Hope is one of Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado’s largest annual events. Since 2008, Recipe for Hope has provided attendees the opportunity to hear powerful stories of hope and courage from our neighbors who have experience hunger. Guests learn more about how they can help bridge the gap between hunger and abundance, and how care and Share is able to further our impact by partnering with more than 290 agencies to provide food assistance to thousands of families and individuals across 31 counties and 52,000 square miles throughout Southern Colorado.
More than 1,200 guests are expected to attend Recipe for Hope in 2024. Recipe for Hope is a way for Care and Share to raise vital resources. This funding has been essential to meeting the needs of children, families, and seniors at risk of hunger for the last fourteen years, and it is critical to our mission as we continue to build more vibrant, nourished communities.
