Good morning friends of Care and Share!

Did you happen to hear about the Gluten Free Cheerios recall? Well in case you didn’t, General Mills has recalled 1.8 million boxes of this product because it may contain gluten.

So what happens to all of this product? Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, was able to acquire this cereal and make it available to its network of partner food banks, which includes Care and Share!

In exchange for a truckload of perfectly good cereal (unless you are gluten intolerant), we are sending empty banana boxes.

If you are wondering why the Abracadabra title-we are transforming empty banana boxes into cereal…ta da!
