Good morning friends of Care and Share!

I’m still a newcomer at Care and Share after starting on September 1, 2014. I joined Care and Share as the Chief Financial Officer after spending the last 22 years as the Vice President/Controller in the manufacturing world.

Things I really enjoy about my job at Care and Share include the people I work with, the things that I’m learning relating to the nonprofit sector, and most of all the good feelings I have because I’m part of a team of great people that enjoy helping others in the community and throughout Southern Colorado. I feel that I am very blessed to be in a position and part of an organization that does so much good.

I enjoy most outdoor activities offered here in Colorado. Some of the activities I actively participate in include snowboarding in the winter, hiking the incline throughout the year, and riding motorcycles and dirt bikes in the summer. And yes, those of you who know me know that I grew up on a farm in Minnesota with 8 sisters and 1 brother!
