Empty Stocking Fund Bowling Tournament

Good morning friends of Care and Share!

Each year, recipient agencies of the Gazette-El Pomar Foundation Empty Stocking Fund gear up for the campaign season with a bowling tournament. Care and Share’s team, the Hunger Strikes, practices months in advance for this event, and it paid off…

We are proud to report that we won the tournament for the second year in a row–woo hoo! Each Care and Share player bowled two games and the team total was 1,617.

Shane “Sunshine” French, Donna “The Rock” Ross, and Jason “The Cannonball” Feld

Second row from left: Team Captain Steven “The Ringer” West and  Rob “The Truck” Clark

We are really looking forward to this year’s Empty Stocking Fund campaign. This holiday season, we hope you will look for ways to support the campaign, which benefits 20 local health and human service agencies in the Pikes Peak region on the front lines of helping people in crisis and assisting others in attaining self-sufficiency.

Thanks for reading and go Hunger Strikes!
