We’re delighted to announce that the 2019-2020 Empty Stocking Fund has helped us provide over 1,050,000 meals to neighbors in need!

The Gazette-El Pomar Foundation Empty Stocking Fund transforms lives across the Pikes Peak Region. Care and Share Food Bank is proud to be one of the 20 local nonprofits to receive a portion of the donations raised. In its 36th year, the annual Gazette Charities-El Pomar Foundation Empty Stocking Fund campaign provides resources for local health and human service agencies in the region on the front lines of helping people in crisis and assisting others in attaining self-sufficiency. Of the funds donated to this campaign, 100 percent go directly to the recipient agencies.

We are excited to share that the Empty Stocking Fund raised over $1.22 million during this year’s campaign! We are blessed and grateful for the support and efforts of the Empty Stocking Fund team, and all the community members who contributed.
