Good morning Friends of Care and Share,

So many exciting things are happening around here! Yesterday, we launched our new website. If you haven’t clicked through yet, give it a spin. It is full of beautiful pictures and inspiring stories, as well as information about our work and upcoming events.

We also welcomed two new(ish) forklifts to our warehouse! The Daniels Fund made it possible for us to purchase these forklifts to accomplish Within Reach.

Each day, our forklifts move an average of 77,000 pounds of food. This breaks down to 160 pounds of food each minute of an eight-hour work day. With the new additions, we’ll be able to move even more!

Our warehousing experts are really excited about these new additions to our Care and Share family. The forklifts will make our work much more efficient and will allow us to move the extra food needed to provide access to food to all of our Southern Colorado neighbors in need.
