Good morning friends of Care and Share!

We are still reeling (in a good way) from our Recipe for Hope event last week. Members of our community turned out in droves to support our work and to hear from our amazing speakers.

If you attended this event, I’m sure you are anxiously awaiting the outcome. Well, the results are in (mostly)! We had an extraordinary turnout and broke our record for people in attendance and dollars raised.

We had the honor to work with 111 table captains that cumulatively achieved an astounding 1,050 RSVPs. 73% of those that attended our event made generous contributions to our work, which resulted in (DRUM ROLL PLEASE)…. $206,371.29!!!!

Because of generous sponsorships, all of the expenses associated with this event were covered.

We are so extremely honored that we had the opportunity to be in the same room with so many people that share our belief that no one should go hungry. If you were one of those individuals, please accept our infinite gratitude!
