Mobile Market

A nimble and new way to fill a need

Care and Share launched our first Mobile Market in May 2020.

Now, we have two Mobile Markets serving neighbors in El Paso and Pueblo Counties. The Mobile Market is like a small grocery store on wheels. It’s designed to take food directly into hard-to-reach neighborhoods that have high concentrations of need, like mobile home communities. This program allows us to serve individuals and families who may not have access to reliable transportation. Choice is a big part of our Mobile Market program. Neighbors get to pick out which foods they want to bag and take home.

“When we're able to give fresh fruits and veggies to our neighbors, you can really see community building right in front of your eyes.”

- steven williams, Programs Director
