Partnerships

Good morning friends of Care and Share!

As with most things in life, so much of our work can only be accomplished through partnerships.

Recently, we conducted our first Mobile Food Pantry at Peak Vista’s Health Center in Fountain. Not only did this require our team to partner with the wonderful staff at Peak Vista, but we needed volunteers to get the job done. With the help of our friends serving in the U.S. Army, we had a successful day of distributing healthy food to those in need!

Many of our dedicated volunteers are from our local military installations.

Many seniors are at risk of hunger because they live on severely fixed incomes.

Hunger can affect anyone. A lay off, a car accident, or any unforeseen circumstance can push someone living paycheck to paycheck over the financial edge.

We work to ensure that at least 86% of the food we distribute is classified as “highly nutritious,” consisting of produce, dairy products, meat, and baked goods.

Those at risk of hunger come in all shapes and sizes.

We could not accomplish our work without our amazing drivers!
