Hi friends of Care and Share!

This morning in our leadership team meeting, we heard about all of the amazing things going on in each of our departments: Development, Agency Relations, Programs, Finance, and Operations. Today, we’re going to highlight some information from our Agency Relations team.

We currently have 250 partner agencies throughout our 31-county service area. Our partner agencies include food pantries, emergency shelters, soup kitchens, and other agencies that receive and distribute our food. Our partner agencies are critical to our ability to distribute food to those in need.

During the first week of March, we distributed 238,884 pounds of food to our partner agencies!  Through a long series of acquisition, transportation, and storage, this food eventually makes it way from our warehouse to the tables of those in need.
