Creating Lasting Memories this Holiday Season

One of the best parts of the holiday season is creating and maintaining traditions with loved ones. For many of us, one of those traditions is gathering around a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving.

“We’re so thankful,” said Maria, who visited a Thanksgiving distribution with her two daughters, Daisy and Fatima. Along with a turkey, they were also able to take home other Thanksgiving staples including squash, potatoes, and even pumpkin pie!

With the rising cost of food and other essentials, along with changes to vital federal nutrition programs, many people are turning to Care and Share and our partners for the first time. Together we are working to ensure that all who visit our partners and direct services programs can provide special meals and memories to their families this holiday season.

“It feels very good to be able to receive this for my family,” Maria told us.

Thanks to supporters like you, even more special memories will be made this Thanksgiving – and even more reasons to be thankful for this holiday season.
