Cooking Matters – What’s Cooking?

Facebook, Healthy Pantry, and Spring Classes

Facebook – We are venturing into the world of social media.
Please follow us at ‘Cooking Matters El Paso County’ and soon to come, ‘Cooking Matters Pueblo County,’ for our favorite kitchen tips, recipes, and community updates. This page is for volunteers and participants alike, so please feel free to comment on posts and share your favorite kitchen tips.
We miss all of you and hope this will help us to stay connected with each other and the community!
Healthy Pantry – We are continuing to work with Care and Share’s Direct Services team to provide nutrition education to the Mobile Market and Sunny Side Market staff who distribute food to neighbors. Keep an eye out for the ‘Healthy Choice Guide’ coming to the mobile markets and let us know what you think!
Spring Classes – We have agreed with several partners to postpone classes planned for January and early February, due to concerns over the high number of Covid cases since the holiday break. Later in the spring, we will continue to host our signature six-week course, single-session Cooking Matters at Home classes, and store tours, both online and in-person.
