We wanted to share some highlights of our Charity Navigator rating with you. Charity Navigator, a non-profit organization, works to guide intelligent giving to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace, in which givers and the charities they support work in tandem to overcome our nation’s and the world’s most persistent challenges.
We received a 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. This is a big deal!
For those of you savvy donors that want to ensure your dollar is really going the distance, the below metrics indicate that for every dollar we receive, more than $0.95 goes directly into our programs and less than $0.05 goes into administrative expenses.
