Agency Ordering Guide

About the Ordering Guide

Included in this guide is a list of terms and definitions, as well as examples to help you navigate the shopping list! As we continue technology upgrades, some items (such as different types of produce) may be listed by the pound or by the case. Please look at each item carefully, as Units of Measurement may have changed since the last time you placed an order.
All items are subject to availability. Items may be removed from your order if they are spoiled, damaged, or ordered incorrectly. Questions? Please reach out to your Regional Manager.

When you place an order on Agency Express, please refer to the following fields to make sure you know you are ordering correctly: Item Description, Unit of Measurement (UOM), and Pack Size

Reading the Ordering Page

Below are several examples of the ordering page on Agency Express along with explanations on how to read each example. You can also find information on specific items such as Bread and Pastries and Pet Food.

Example One: Rice Crispies Cereal

In this example, the Unit of Measurement (UOM) is by the case. Under Pack Size, it tells us that 1 case of cereal = 10 bags, with each bag weighing 17.63 ounces.

Example Two: Assorted Bottled Water

In this example, the Unit of Measurement (UOM) is by the pound (lbs.).  One tote = 900 lbs. and you must order in 900 lb. increments.

Example Three: Apples

In this example, the Unit of Measurement (UOM) is by the case.  One case = 1 box of 38 apples.

Example Four: Assorted Frozen Food

In this example, the Unit of Measurement (UOM) is by the pound (lbs.).  Because there is no limit, agencies can order by the pound based on the amount of assorted frozen food you want to receive. Please note: Orders of less than 10 lbs may not be honored depending on the types of items available.

Ordering Bread and Pastries

When ordering bread and pastries (items 00201P and 00202P), please always use the following poundage increments. See the photos below for examples.

NOTE: Bread and pastries are only to order on Agency Express for delivery orders. For pick up orders, bread and pastries are available as a la carte items. Bread or pastries ordered for pick-up will be removed from the order.
