Care and Share Food Bank to Host Children's Nutrition Initiative (CNI) Round Table
Care and Share will be hosting a roundtable with stakeholders that include students, teachers, funders, and community leaders across our services area to discuss the successes and opportunities of our programs, as well as what can be to improve programming.

Map the Meal Gap Interactive Map to be Released May 2024
We are excited to share that the current Map the Meal Gap interactive map will be updated with 2022 data and be available to the public in May 2024.
This interactive map is an important tool that helps Feeding America, food banks, partner agencies, and elected officials improve our understanding of food insecurity and the food costs at the local level. Check out this important tool below!
New USDA Partner Agency Coalition Kicks Off in April
Care and Share partner agencies that distribute USDA foods through the TEFAP or Every Day Eats (CSFP/Senior Boxes) programs will need to have a representative present at these virtual gatherings.

Feeding Colorado and Feeding America send Care and Share to Washington D.C.
Steven Williams, Program Director, reflected on his experience representing Care and Share at the Farm Bill Fly-In over on our blog.

Care and Share is proud to partner with Southern Colorado farmers to provide local produce to neighbors.
One way we work with our local farmers is through the Local Food Purchasing Agreement (LFPA), a grant provided through the USDA and the State of Colorado.
