Canstruction

Hi friends of Care and Share!

Yesterday, we kicked off Harvest of Love with an awesome event-our second annual Canstruction. Participating schools (Scott, Janitell, Doherty, Jenkins, Cheyenne Mountain, Stetson,  Palmer, Ranch Creek, and Pine Creek) were in competition to make the most awesome structure out of cans.

KKTV’s Chief Meteorologist Brian Bledsoe was the judge, and as you can see, he had a tough job choosing the best canstruction!

This year’s winner is Team Honeydew. Their amazing castle canstruction was an impressive feat of ingenuity!

Every year, the Harvest of Love food drive is held the first three weeks. Each day during the drive, KKTV 11 News shares important stories about how their viewers can get involved in sending food to school with their children.

The Harvest of Love is exclusively held within area schools. If your school is interested in participating in the 2015 drive, please contact Shannon Coker at shannon@careandshare.org
