Security Service Federal Credit Union

From Colorado Springs, CO

Story Type: Donors

There are some businesses in our community that go above and beyond their scope of services to make a positive difference in the world. They understand the powerful work that can take place when the corporate and nonprofit sectors unite for a common cause. We are honored to highlight Security Service Federal Credit Union as a change maker. They give their employees incentives to encourage volunteerism and have an employee volunteer group that is dedicated to improving lives for children, military members, and many more individuals. Locally, they support nonprofits from Fort Collins to Pueblo. Care and Share Food Bank is a fortunate recipient of their dedication and generosity.

Security Service Federal Credit Union provides food, time, and funding to Care and Share because they share in our belief that no one should go hungry. This year, they stepped up as a corporate sponsor of Harvest of Love, which is Care and Share’s largest food drive of the year.  They also recruited volunteers for our annual Take a Turkey to Work Day. Security Service Federal Credit Union employees have volunteered during Martin Luther King Day of Service and to pack backpacks for our Send Hunger Packing program. We are honored to stand by their side in the fight against hunger.
