Thurs, February 15th, 2018, 5 p.m. - Food Procurement
When we all come together, it's amazing what can happen. You might wonder how we can transform every $1.00 we receive into acquiring 8 meals. We receive millions of pounds of donated food from many places, but we have to pay to get the food to us. Learn how it all works.
Thurs, May 17, 2018, 5 p.m. - Community Kitchen and Gardens
The gardens at Care and Share Food Bank play a vital role in providing nutrition for those in need. During each growing season, we harvest hundreds of pounds of healthy food from our three gardens and greenhouse. They are a treasured component of everything we do because they provide locally grown food to our own community.
