Do you have leftover pumpkins sitting on your porch? Pigs love pumpkins!  We’re working with three local farmers: Heritage Belle Farms, Vogl Homestead, and Viresco Farms to collect pumpkins for their animals, mainly pigs.

Pumpkins must be natural — without paint, clear sealants, or other decoration that might harm the animals.

Stop by our warehouse at 2605 Preamble Point, 80915 on your way to the ballot box, or anytime between now and Sunday, November 10th. Place your pumpkins in the large totes that are located on the northeast side of the property near Care and Share’s greenhouse that runs parallel to Constitution Avenue.

This is a great way to recycle your Halloween pumpkins instead of throwing them into landfills, and the animals and farmers will thank you for your generosity.
