Adieu from Eric Pizana

Hello, friends!

For the past year I have been attending graduate school to become a school counselor. Working with youth has always been my passion, and I have known I wanted to be a school counselor since high school.

It is bittersweet to say my time at Care and Share is nearing its end with my last day being July 3rd. I LOVE this work and Care and Share’s mission; I am going to miss everyone who volunteers and works at Care and Share. We have an amazing family that takes care of one another and works so hard to take care of this community. It is also difficult to leave the field of volunteer engagement. Care and Share, Feeding America, and Colorado Nonprofit Association gave me opportunities to present and share ideas on how non-profits can expand their missions through volunteer engagement.

I am proud to announce that I have been offered a full-time paid internship opportunity at Atlas Preparatory School, to work with their Mental Health Team! I am so excited to get started on this new journey! ❤️

Thank you to all those who make this work possible by hosting food drives or events on behalf of Care and Share, or by giving your time and talent by volunteering. Thank you for sharing in our belief that no one should go hungry.
