Food Pantries

Amongst the programs offered by Care and Share is a robust distribution network it has across 31 counties to over 300 partner agencies including:

·Emergency food pantries open to the general public in communities throughout the Care and Share service area;

·Soup kitchens and feeding sites that prepare meals on site for clients coming from the general public needing assistance with prepared meals; and

·Non-emergency food pantries that are not open to the general public but rather serve a specifically designated group of clients. These agencies offer services that have a primary purpose other than emergency food distribution but also distribute food. Examples include: state licensed group homes, shelters, day cares, summer camps, residential programs, etc.
