Thanks for your interest and inquiry into volunteering her at Care and Share!

The steps to volunteering with us are:
1)      The first step is for you to read through and fill out the info sheet in the volunteer packet that is can be down loaded here.    DOWNLOAD VOLUNTEER PACKET
2)      Attend a volunteer orientation/tour on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM. If you  cannot attend one of those I can certainly schedule a time that works with your schedule.
3)      Schedule dates to volunteer with Isaac Ring, Volunteer Program Manager by phone or email.
4)      Come in and Volunteer!! 

Our volunteer times for sorting and/or packing food are 9-11 am and/or 1-3 pm. Monday –Saturday.   We are open for volunteers during the week between 9am -4:30pm in the warehouse.If you are interested in volunteering in our gardens, the times are 9-noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the 3rd Saturday of each month.  We do not have any volunteer sessions in the evenings or on Sundays.

Volunteers ages 6-16 must to be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering with us.

A note on Dress code :

All volunteers must wear closed toed shoes and flip-flops, sandals or tank-tops are not permitted to be worn. For more info on dress code please read the volunteer packet.

We are trying out a online Saturday Sign Up Form for individual Volunteers. Please start using it. Groups still need to schedule  with Isaac Ring by email or phone.
