Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado is proud to offer the Lane Family Community Board Room at our Colorado Springs warehouse free of charge for meetings to community organizations and businesses.

Accommodations

The Lane Family Community Board Room is ideal for presentations, trainings and meetings. The table seats a maximum of eighteen, but the room can hold up to twenty four with additional side chairs around the perimeter. Restroom facilities are nearby.

Availability
Groups may utilize the Lane Family Community Board Room during regular business hours from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Your meeting and any cleanup must be completed by 4:00 p.m.  A Care and Share staff member would be glad to provide your group with a brief presentation about the food bank and its community impact at the beginning of your meeting.   We can also provide printed materials which highlights details about Care and Share. 

Care and Share Food Bank gladly shares the Lane Family Community Board Room with other organizations and groups; however, any support from your organization of financial or food donations is always appreciated. Parking
Limited parking is available at the facility so we do encourage carpooling whenever possible.

 

Refreshments
Groups are welcome to bring in their own snacks, meals and drinks. However, groups are asked to keep all food inside the board room. Set up and clean up are the responsibility of your group and we ask you leave the room as it was upon your arrival.

Directions
Our Warehouse is located at 2605 Preamble Point, Colorado Springs, CO 80915.  From Powers Boulevard turn east on Constitution and proceed up the street approximately one quarter of a mile, turn right on Preamble Point after you pass the Sonic restaurant. 
 
Training and Audio/Visual Supplies
The Lane Family Community Board Room has a large whiteboard, as well as a drop-down projection screen. Groups should provide their own laptop or projector; the room does have the hook-up connections for these items.  Your group is welcome to bring additional supplies as needed.

Building Access
You will be requested to sign in as a visitor to our facility.  Guests are asked to observe any signage or barriers located throughout the facility. This is a working warehouse and we ask that all guests stay in the office area, unless escorted by a Care and Share staff member.

 

Reservations
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so groups are encouraged to book their reservation early. Reservations can be made by calling Fran at 719-528-1247 for the agreement form.  Complete the agreement page and return it by fax to Fran at 719-528-5833 or scan the agreement page and e-mail her at Fran@careandshare.org. Please keep a copy for your records.  A signed room reservation agreement is required to confirm your reservation.  If your group has to cancel, we request 24 hours notice.
